T O P I C R E V I E WGACspaceguyI was contacted by Ed Humpherys with Mastercraft Models about a 1:72 Saturn IB. He had a customer special order one so he made five. I picked up one to go with Dragon's Saturn V in the same scale. Ed has told me he would let the others go for $250 plus shipping (for me it was around $40), so if anyone is interested, e-mail me and I will get you in contact with Ed.The model is good for the price, as it is a wood/resin type and is very stout. The CSM RCS quads are too big and the BPC lacks detail but I bet you good modeling folks could smash the Dragon Apollo SLA/CSM/BPC/LES into the section of the SLA where the split occurs. Take a look at the photos attached. I like it but I am happy with contractor models that typically lack details. jjknapI just ordered one of these. Do all of the components separate?GACspaceguyOnly as you see in the first photo in the 2015 post.apolloprojecktLooks nice, Dragon come also out with a kit Saturn IB 1/72.
